Skiermont Derby Welcomes Two IP Litigation Partners to Its Dallas Office
Skiermont Derby LLP has added two experienced intellectual property litigators to its Dallas office. Bradley D. Liddle and Michael C. Pomeroy join the litigation boutique as partners, both arriving from the Dallas office of Cozen O’Connor. Each brings a broad background in intellectual property and commercial litigation.

Bradley D. Liddle
Mr. Liddle handles all stages of patent litigation, including Inter Partes Review proceedings. He also counsels clients on patent licensing and infringement analysis, along with portfolio management, valuation, acquisition, and the identification of IP investment opportunities.
His experience extends beyond private practice. Mr. Liddle ran a multi-million dollar patent licensing company, where he successfully licensed dozens of companies to its portfolio. He began his legal career in patent litigation at a boutique firm in Houston.
Mr. Liddle earned his law degree from Texas A&M University School of Law in 2010 and his undergraduate degree in aerospace engineering from Texas A&M. Before law school, he worked as an engineer at Boeing supporting the International Space Station program.
Michael C. Pomeroy
Mr. Pomeroy is a registered patent attorney who has represented clients at the district court level, before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and in appeals at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He has counseled both plaintiffs and defendants in disputes involving patent infringement, copyright infringement, breach of contract, and theft of trade secrets, carrying matters through all phases of litigation, including multiple trials. He also has experience in Inter Partes Review practice before the PTAB.
Mr. Pomeroy earned his law degree with honors from SMU Dedman School of Law in 2017. He holds both a master’s degree and an undergraduate degree from The University of Texas. Peer review journals have recognized him among the top 100 PTAB attorneys in the country for two consecutive years, including a distinction as a top 10 PTAB attorney for patent owners based on his success record in 2024.
