As part of a series highlighting the imagination, diversity, and resilience of American enterprise, Inc. Magazine profiled Skiermont Derby client Dan Brown of Loggerhead Tools. SD partner Sarah Spires is quoted in the article, which details the protracted patent infringement lawsuit Loggerhead brought against Sears and its vendor, Apex Tool Group. In May of 2017, an Illinois jury returned a $6 million verdict for Mr. Brown, which was later overturned by the district court. That ruling is now pending appeal. Read the entire Inc.
