Kevin P. Potere is a trial attorney specializing in general commercial litigation and patent disputes. He has represented clients in a variety of matters in both state and federal court, including actions involving securities, artificial intelligence, telecommunications, financial services, antitrust, and government investigations. Kevin has successfully tried multiple cases to verdict and has drafted and successfully argued numerous dispositive motions. He has also successfully defended judgments before the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Appellate Division, Fourth Judicial Department and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Kevin was the recipient of the 2012 New York Access to Justice Award, 2013 Family Court Service Award, and was listed as a Rising Star in the 2015-2019 editions of New York Super Lawyer. Prior to joint Skiermont Derby LLP, Kevin was a senior associate at Duane Morris LLP and an associate at Greenberg Traurig LLP in New York City. Kevin grew up in a military family and has lived in nine states, Japan, Egypt, Australia, and Italy.
