Todd Martin focuses his practice on patent litigation. He has years of experience as a litigator, and he has successfully represented clients across the country in state court and federal court. As a registered patent attorney, Todd has drafted and successfully prosecuted scores of patent applications. Todd has experience working in a wide variety of technological areas including circuit design, semiconductors, optical systems, LiDAR, AI, wireless communication systems, and others. Before joining Skiermont Derby, LLP, Todd worked as an associate at a patent prosecution boutique, and at a national law firm.

Todd graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. degree in Economics from the University of Alabama, and later earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Dallas, magna cum laude. He has an M.A. in Banking and Finance from the University of Alabama on a Graduate Council Fellowship. Todd earned his law degree in 2008 from Washington University in St. Louis where he was a Michael and Candice King Scholar in Law and recipient of an Award for Excellence in Oral Advocacy.
