Adriana is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Skiermont Derby LLP. Since her admission to the California State Bar in 2020, Adriana has successfully litigated claims on behalf of her clients in a variety of practice areas including securities, mergers and acquisitions, and intellectual property disputes. She has also performed substantial research and drafting of an appellate brief for the Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit in a matter regarding Veterans’ disability ratings. There, she was responsible for finding critical statutory language which resulted in a 3-0 decision in favor of the client and created precedent for other similar cases being tried at the time. Adriana has been recognized as a Rising Star and noted for being exceptionally effective, thorough, and responsive by Chambers USA (2020–2021).

Before Skiermont Derby, Adriana was a member of the Litigation Department at Latham & Watkins LLP, one of the largest global law firms founded in Los Angeles. Adriana earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. During law school, Adriana was involved in the Honors Moot Court Program and represented incarcerated individuals as part of the Post Conviction Justice Program. She also served on the Executive Board as Treasurer for the Latinx Law Students Association. Adriana received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Irvine.
